Coral reefs, climate change and nitrogen pollution - Exploring the issues at Thoddoo Island

Prof. Mark Sutton and Prof. Sandy Tudhope explored the reefs at Thoddoo, the Maldives in August 2019, three years after the widespread coral bleaching event of 2016. They are working in partnership with Maldives National University, Maldives Marine Research Institute, UN Environment Programme, the Global Environment Facility and many others under the GCRF South Asian Nitrogen Hub as a contribution to developing the International Nitrogen Management System.
