The purpose of this Regulation is to regulate the treatment and disposal of sewage sludge and its use in agriculture so as to avoid harmful effects on soils, vegetation, animals and humans, while encouraging their correct use. The use of sludge on forest soils and at a distance of less than 30 meters from forest edges is subject to prior authorization from the Minister of Land Use Planning and the Environment. The text is made up of 20 articles divided into 5 chapters, the most important of which are: Duties of the bearers (II).
